For our latest high-concept, one-off capsule collection, Superconscious dug into its own DNA, collaborating with digital artist Giusy Amoroso of IOR50 Studio, whose futuristic skeletal artworks, reflect the concept of “Superconscious.”
The joint collection consists of 6 pieces that were individually designed to frame the art work. Shape, color pallet and cuts were planned in an one year ongoing process by the founders of Superconscious.
A one of a kind print technic on a poly fabric translates the digital Artwork into a physical shape.
Details of metal/chrome plates and parts of the exoskeleton and every multi colored wire-nerve within the artwork is emphasized by the shining and reflecting prints. Causing an almost x-ray feel to the images. Framed with red zig zag stitching and black line stitching on 400grm organic cotton jersey as well as on 230grm heavy weight organic cotton T shirt; all specifications and requirements of the designs were meet by manufacturer 10K.
The digital world and the physical world collide in this first collaborative collection, with the goal to establish and to defining a new zeitgeist of style. A transcendental and hypnotizing bridge between the digital multiverse and sports/streetwear.
Nature itself is nothing else then a technology that may have been created for us; to mold us into the form and the physical shape that we are in. The artwork is fueled by the philosophical and enlightening idea that one can reach a higher form and free mind and body by creating something detached from the known. The possibility of reprograming ourselves on a quantum level, additionally fuels the idea that our creator or creators have constructed this world for us.
Equally we have the power to create worlds, creatures and entities, even identities and selves in the digital multiverse. For that, the exoskeleton as a digital art piece is simply a reinterpretation of nature itself.
